Black and white stripesby ~Wursu

This was my very first experimental piece with (light brown) velour paper. I mostly used my brown, white and black chalks, but also a little pastel pencil. I know I could've done more details if I'd used coloured pencils and brush, but since I used chalks, it was sort of hard, and I also suspect that more fur details could've made him look very fuzzy.

I DON'T like how the nose and nostrils came out - I only used a TINY reference photo for this (it was about one inch at the highest point) and the nose was very dark, and I had no bigger photos, and I'm lazy like that. I also think the ears came out both a little to small and very fuzzy, but whatever xD I know that the perspective of the head could've been better, and that it in some areas looks a little messy, But I'm still happy with the overall outcome. D:

As I said above, Brown, white and black chalks (some in pencil-form) and a little pastel pencil were used to make this, and I believe it took about three hours to complete. Size is A4. It is cropped a little different IRL (see my paw print signature in the corner).

This is very nicely drawn. I like it a lot. I don't see any of the mistakes you think you made, but,..we are our own toughest critics.
