Wohoo! First 2006-piece! ;D (It was started back in 2005, though.. xP)

A piece done for practice, I wanted to practice drawing bear fur and facial structures, not to mention lightning. I also kind of wanted to show everybody that bears aren't really cute and cuddly teddys, and that not everything I draw is huggable and cute xP I am very happy with how this piece turned out =3

Watercolours and (white) acrylics mostly, also some derwent drawing pencils. Photoreference was used.

Fierce, powerful, wild, Rage by *Wursu gives the grizzly exactly what it needs in this beautiful piece. Seriously, I looked much like this bear when I first seen it, jaw dropped and all. ( Suggested by ~Faenikins and Featured by `gatekeeper501 )

Beautiful! And I don't find the bear ugly! Magnificant, elementally powerful, even frightening. But not ugly. I have faved this one.
